What makes NEXT GEN technology so speacial?
Precision Turbo has developed a new aero package, which includes a redesigned compressor cover with numerous flow enhancements and a new compressor wheel profile that incorporates an extended tip on the exducer. These changes, along with revisions to the accompanying compressor cover and backing plate, result in a 10% to 15% increase in flow compared to the previous GEN2 technology. 
Another benefit to these enhancements are lower charge temperatures at the same boost levels when compared to the previous GEN2 technology. Although some of the new turbos share the same inducer sizing as the older generation turbos, it’s the exducer and back disc measurements, coupled with the flow enhancements to the hub design and compressor cover MAP groove, which really helps increase the flow of these NEXT GEN turbochargers. 
Gone is the previous SP compressor cover, as it has been displaced with a higher flowing SCP compressor cover, with special attention given to the MAP groove of the ported shroud inlet. The SCP compressor cover maintains the same 4” slip on style inlet, with a 2.5” slip on style discharge. Also, the HP compressor cover (4” inlet, 3” discharge) is now available for the first time on the PT6466 model. These design changes have resulted in significant horsepower increases that we have found in dyno testing during our research & development phase.
